The Sidhpur Sat-Isabgol Factory – converted from Partnership firm under section 374 (b) of the Companies Act, 2013) in the late 1920s, introduced its first-ever consumer pack of SAT-ISABGOL under the brand name of Telephone Brand SAT-ISABGOL. Since then, Telephone Brand Sat-Isabgol is the market leader in delivering superior and consistent quality of Sat-Isabgol for more than 85 years. Our brand is present in over 30 countries. We offer various sizes, 200g, 100g, 50g carton packs and 10g sachets. Recently, we have launched our new contemporary design, convenient pack of 5g sachets in the Indian market.
What is Psyllium Husk?
SAT-ISABGOL is known to us for centuries, as one of the best Indian traditional herbs to promote body’s overall health and well-being. It was first introduced in India in the 1920s by the “Hakims” who practiced traditional remedies. This ancient knowledge is proven by modern science and today SAT-ISABGOL (Psyllium Husk) is known as one the most effective, natural soluble fibre for maintaining gut mobility.
SAT-ISABGOL comes from the seeds of Plantago Ovata which is known as “ISABGOL”. On consumption, it absorbs water and becomes a viscous bulk to give good gut mobility for easy passage. Lately, its usage has been expanded into the food industry especially, the bakery industry. There has been a phenomenal growth in the usage of Sat-Isabgol (Psyllium Husk) being a plant-based, gluten-free ingredient in the food market. It is largely grown in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
